I grew up in a “Christian” covert narcissist family. I really didn’t even know what a narcissist was until the Lord told me my mother was a narcissist in 2014, my only reference was Obama. Fast forward to today, the Lord told me to shut the door on my family and give Him the keys, I had to let go of any relationships inside that family system bc even small children were fed the lies about me, the scapegoat. My reference verses were 2 Timothy 3:1-7. Hard to believe so called devout Christians can behave like this but have learned a perfect vocation for a narcissist is in the pulpit. Sheesh, no wonder the church is so messed up!
