I’m a few years younger than you, but just a few. Never thought our “Golden Years” would be spent this way. Never thought we’d come to this point so soon. We cry for ourselves; but we cry even louder for those we will soon leave behind.
The youth around the world are totally lost, totally without sound direction, totally without hope, and rightfully so. World leaders are ambitiously wicked. They contend with each other to surpass evil. Their wickedness is a snowball rolling downhill, growing ever larger. And the people are all but helpless to compete with their demonic plans. Those who won’t surrender their souls are barely surviving at this point, soon to be exterminated. After years of naïve expectations that things would change, people would change, we have finally come to the realization that the only change taking place in men’s hearts is for the worse.
Even in our despair, we can hardly disagree with God that His judgement is just, and we long for the restoration of all creation to its original state before the Fall.
