Launch hundreds of munitions from hundreds of miles away that can be shot down by a coalition of forces,
Hit an obscure military base that generates no casualties
After the dust settles, call it, All is forgiven, don’t do it again
Coordinate the media talking points whereby the instigator of the act of war ie. “Bombing and killing military personnel on sovereign territory”,
Comes out smelling like roses, and the nation threatening retaliation, death, and destruction of said instigation gets to save face after flexing its muscles to the world.
Conclusion: All parties involved managed to generate and seed a high degree of fear into the general population of the world.
Oh I forgot, increased website traffic and merchandise sales. Those store shelves looked pretty empty in those regions.
